Welcome to the new website of the Sabah Parks Board of Trustees. As chairman I am indeed very grateful to the tourism industry for making Sabah Parks one of the many 'Must See' destinations for tourist and visitors to Sabah, and for making tourism as the second largest contributor to the nation’s economy.

I am proud that Sabah Parks has many attractive tourism products available throughout the year for the enjoyment and benefit of tourist and visitors alike. We at Sabah Parks will do our best to preserve and to conserve these many natural attractions so that it continues to exist in perpetuity and meet the needs and requirements of every visitor.

The wealth of biodiversity found in the Park should be communicated to the outside world through the internet, so that they (the seekers) will get the right and accurate information. This in turn would increase their desire and interest to seek more about ( or visit) Sabah Parks, as well as creating public awareness on the works and effort done to conserve and protect the natural environment in and around the Parks area. I am certain that this informative website would be able to achive the mission of Sabah Parks on awareness programme.

Finally, with this new website, it is our hope that visitation to Sabah Park areas will increase for the benefit of the people of Sabah as a whole and thus the economy of the state.

Welcome to our new official website. Sabah is blessed with nature beauty-from mountain top to ocean deep. A visit to Sabah, in psrticular the State Parks, will guarantee and promise you a variety of great travel destinations. Take some time to surf our website and you will certainly agree that Sabah Parks areas must-visit destinations. A visit to the Park areas is an unforgettable experience.

This website provides a general overview of Sabah Parks. Information on scientific research, current activities, annual events, such as Mount Kinabalu International Climbathon, location of the parks, and conservation efforts can be obtained. This information, no doubt, would assist potential visitors to plan their travel and vacation to the Park areas. In addition, this website is also linked to the Sabah Tourism official portal.

Before concluding, may I suggest that you continue browsing this site in order to obtain meaningful and accurate information on Sabah Parks. To the staff of Sabah Parks, I urge you all to use this site as a communication platform so as to get to know each other better. Lastly, I welcome any feedback, ideas, questions or suggestions.
