ADMINISTRATION, FINANCE & HUMAN RESOURCES DIVISION
- ACCOUNT UNIT

Finance Unit was established under the management of Administration, Finance and Human Resources Division of Sabah Parks Main Headquarters, Kota Kinabalu. This unit consist of ten (10) staffs where it was reinforced by two (2) officer and eight (8) supported staffs. The functions of this Unit was strengthened by eleven (11) staffs placed at each park stations.

The core objectives of this unit is to ensure financial management and accountancy are efficient in order to achieve the goal of Sabah Parks area regarding biology, geography and history naturally for the importance of ecology, education and eco tourism for the benefits of the next generation.

Functions

Providing estimation of income and expenditure.
To amend estimation and grant.
Providing a proposal for extra expenditure to use Parks joint fund for the board’s approval.
Proposing to other units on how to generate income.
To propose and prepare the guidelines regarding financial restrains in Sabah Parks.
Supervising and making surprise visit to every collection centre in Sabah Parks.
To propose capacity building activities for financial units.
To prepare all the relevant answers for auditors regarding finance.
